After a disappointing ultrasound Monday, my RE increased my Estrace (the little blue pill - for women) to 2 pills twice a day. Yowza. If I wasn't bloated and crabby enough, let's go ahead and add more estrogen, yeah? Turns out it wasn't a problem at all because I sincerely doubt that my body was even thinking of absorbing it! I left my dignity and my panties at the door once again and headed in for another ultrasound today. Now after shots, pills, vaginal inserts (just keeping it real, yo), pomegranate juice, pineapple, fish oil, blah-blah-blah....I got nothin'. Not one, single, solitary millimeter out of that crap. I was at 7.1mm Monday, and I'm at a steady 7.1 today.
My RE has told me from day one that he likes to see around an 8-8.5mm lining before a transfer. Well, sugar bear, I just can't give it to you. Now what? According to him, now...we go! Apparently the 8.5 was just a scare tactic. Asshole. Today I hear, "Well, as long as we're between a 6.5 and 10, we're ok." You say what, now? 'Scuse me? I think I just hallucinated. Do you mean to tell me that I have been stressing like a chihuahua for the last two weeks over my tissue thin lining and you would have been satisfied with a damn 6.5? Sir, I believe you owe me an apology. LOL. Sheesh. Way to give a girl a fright!
So, at this point, instead of playing games and stuffing little blue pills up my hoo ha, we're preparing to transfer two gorgeous frozies next Friday. I'll do labs one more time to check on my A1C and we're a go. Being diabetic throws a few more lab visits in there, but its worth it to make sure my kidneys can do the job, right? Stay tuned for further complaints...ahem...I mean developments. Toodles!
