After my recheck today, my stubborn lining was only 6.8. Even so, my RE says, "It's go time, baby!" We start PIO (ouchie) in the morning and the other meds (aspirin, prednisone, antibiotic) shortly after. While my lining isn't where we want it, historically, the progesterone shots increase it a bit before transfer day, so I think I'll be able to get past 7mm for sure.
I can't tell you how much I'm not looking forward to these PIO shots. Just thinking about having a giant, painful progesterone lump in my bum makes me cringe. I know the hubs feels like a complete jerk face every time he's gotta come near me with that 22 gauge needle. It's bad, I'll admit it. I'm skeerd as hell. But...we do what we must.
Because our RE requires 2-3 days of bed rest, and I'm transferring on the 12th, it looks like Valentine's Day plans are cancelled. Instead of getting fancied up and having a night out with our couple friends, I'll be laying in bed eating take out with my very own Prince Charming. Still sounds good to me! Well, all except for not having any "festivities" this year (no "relations until week 4, remember?). LOL.
We're all scheduled to transfer 3 frosties on 2/12. I'm so excited, and I can't wait for beta day! Five short days until we transfer, and 10 more until our beta hCG test. In the next two weeks I'll know something! Let's get this road on the show so we can meet our bean(s)!!!
